Cupcakes are traditionally kid-friendly because they are small in size, simple in flavor and easy to eat. Today, the cupcake has taken a turn and become more refined, more enchanting and more "grown-up". Here at Piece Of Cake, a cupcake only bakery, we strive to bring you the most fresh, most unique and most delicious cupcakes you have ever had. Our flavors are sold by the dozen, one flavor per dozen and always baked fresh. *Baby Cakes are miniature cupcakes that come in either standard or gourmet flavors. When you purchase 2 dozen you get 1 dozen of the same flavor free.

48 hour notice is required for any order of 1-3 dozen. 72 hour notice is required for any order exceeding 3 dozen and any size custom order. We prefer that payment be made in advance via Pay Pal, but other arrangements may be taken into consideration.

It's our monthly cupcake club!There are no costly membership fees and you only purchase cupcakes when you want them. The cost is always $24.00 which includes a dozen cupcakes in six different flavors, special packaging, a flavor guide that details the flavors of that month and a coupon for a discount off your next order."Sweeties" will receive a monthly email with the details of that month's special; flavors, pick up date and time as well as the RSVP date. You must RSVP by the date listed or you will miss your chance and have to wait until the next month! "Sweeties" are the first customers to hear about cupcake specials, freebies and other great promotions If you are a cupcake lover it just makes sense to join! FAQ's "You've been asking..."Q: How long will my cupcakes stay fresh?A: We recommend enjoying the cupcakes the same day they are purchased, but they can be stored in an airtight container overnight and enjoyed the next day. Cupcakes with whipped cream filling or topping should be refrigerated and allowed to come back to room temperature before serving.Q: Can I request custom flavors or decorations?A: Of course! If you don't see your favorite flavor on the menu please ask. We also offer custom fondant decorations (i.e flowers) and custom cupcake picks. Additional fees may apply to custom flavors. Pricing for custom fondant decorations/custom cupcake picks start at $0.50 each. Please send us an inquiry for more details.Q: Do your cupcakes contain nuts?A: We do have nuts and nut products in our kitchen so your cupcakes may come in contact with them during the baking and/or decorating process.Q: Can I place an order the same day I need it?A: We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for orders up to 3 dozen. Orders of 4 dozen or more and any size custom order require at least 72 hours notice. We appreciate as much notice as possible and lead times may be longer on weekends or during holidays.Q: How do I pay for my cupcakes?A: We prefer payment in advance via Pay Pal. Other payment arrangements may be taken into consideration. We do not accept checks (personal or business) at the present time.Q: Do you ship your cupcakes?A: Regretfully, at this time we are unable to ship our cupcakes. While we work out the kinks in the shipping process, delivery is available in the greater Cleveland area and surrounding suburbs for a nominal fee.You may also pick-up your cupcakes. Weekday(M-F) pick-up hours are limited to the evening(after 6:00PM). Weekend pick-up hours are more flexible. Please call or email with any questions.Q: Do you offer tastings for weddings?A: Yes, we offer [cup] cake tastings for the bride-to-be, groom-to-be and up to 2 additional guests. The cost of the tasting is $10.00/person and if the engaged couple decides to book their wedding with us, the cost of the tasting is deducted from their final bill. Cupcake Bar "Cupcakes...on the rocks?"Not at all. The cupcake bar is the latest cupcake concept from Piece of Cake. The cupcake bar is a full service confectionary bar offering a variety of cupcakes, fillings, frostings and toppings. Here's how it works...Step One: ChatConsult with a Piece of Cake event planner to discuss the particular needs of your event. color scheme, theme, dessert extras, take home containers, etc.Step Two: ChoicesChoose your desired cupcake flavor(s)Choose your desired filling(s)Choose your desired frosting(s)Choose your desired topping(s)Step Three: EnjoyOn the day of your party/event a cupcake bar will be set up in a designated area for your guests to enjoy. Each guest will be able to "belly up" to the bar, choose a cupcake flavor, filling, frosting and topping(s). The "caketenders" of Piece of Cake will take the cupcake; fill it, frost it and pile on the toppings. Groupon FAQ "Need to know basis"Here is a list of the most popular questions (and their answers) in regards to the current Groupon Deal.Q:Can I come into your shop and purchase cupcakes?A: No, I am home-based and all cupcakes are baked to order with a 48 hour advance notice required.Q: What are your store hours?A: Because I am home-based my hours vary. Pick-up Monday-Friday is AFTER 6:00pm. Saturday and Sunday pick-up is more flexible.Q: Can I mix and match my flavors or does it have to be one flavor?A: The cupcakes are sold one flavor per dozen, but depending on what else I am baking on the day you need your cupcakes there MAY be an opportunity to mix and match.Q: Can I use the voucher to purchase filled flavors/holiday flavors/custom designed cupcakes?A: No, the Groupon voucher is only valid on Classic or Gourmet flavors. With one exception. I will be offering a Thanksgiving variety dozen (for pick-up the evening before Thanksgiving) I will open that deal up to Groupon customers.
